Why I killed her – Man who slit ex-girlfriend’s throat tell’s his story.

The bricklayer, Akinloye Anuoluwapo who confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend, Rafiyat Akinyemi by slitting her throat is telling his side of the story.

Akinloye, 25, was said to have visited Akinyemi house, slit her throat then had sex with her while she bled to death.

Anuoluwapo, who has been arrested by the police, confessed to the crime saying, “I don’t know what came over me, I just wanted us to reconcile and continue our relationship.

Each time we break up, I am always severely affected; I converted from Christianity to Islam because I wanted to marry her.

“I even moved from my one-room apartment to self-contained accommodation so that she would be more comfortable. My visit was meant to be for a discussion but it degenerated into a quarrel.

On April 29, I missed her call, and in annoyance, she sent me series of annoying text messages, warning me not to call her or come to her house. I had once sent a message to her, appealing that she should not abandon me because I was disowned by my parents because of her, saying that I would commit suicide if she did. In reference to that message, she said I could die for all she cared, saying that my exit would create more enjoyment for the living, including herself.

I was so disturbed that I could not concentrate at work the following day, April 30. I went back home to take a knife I kept in my box. I went to her house around 8.30a.m. and met her alone. I was thinking I could use the knife to frighten her because we used to quarrel like that and settle it. To my surprise, she stood up and started shouting at me, saying she had warned me not to come to her house again.

“She held me and we started struggling in her parents sitting room. I made up my mind to have sex with her and I was able to penetrate her as we were struggling with each other. It was in the process that the knife pierced her throat. Immediately I saw blood, I was afraid, so I drew the knife out and ran away.

“I called my company’s lawyer and told him. I also called my friend, Gbenga, to go to Rafiyat’s house and assess the situation. He told me he saw her where she lay dead.

“I lost my peace and could not do anything at work until the police came to arrest me. I know that I have sinned against God and erred against the law of the land. I know that the law cannot spare me, I know that I will die, but I just pray that God will forgive me. I know I will be hanged but I just pray that God will receive my spirit.

Redeemers University student arrested over murder of suspected gay banker (PICTURED)

Police detectives have arrested a student of the Redeemers University, Ogun State in connection with the brutal murder of a banker by his suspected gay lover.

Detectives believe that the student is the prime suspect.

The Nigerian Compass had on Tuesday reported the death of the banker, identified as Adindu Ohamara, in Bariga, a Lagos suburb.

According to sources, the banker was on 19 April, 2013 found in a pool of his blood in his room, having been  stabbed several times. Six persons were thereafter arrested in connection with the crime by detectives from the homicide unit of the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) in Panti, Lagos State.

Some of the persons picked-up by the Police included a sister of the deceased, names withheld. She regained freedom on Wednesday.

Detectives finally picked the male student from The Redeemers University, located along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, who is regarded in police circle as the prime suspect.

According to our sources, the prime suspect, names withheld, initially denied knowing the deceased while being drilled by Police detectives. But he later admitted knowing the deceased but gave an alibi that he was reading with some of his colleagues at the university premises at the time of the murder.

The Police thereafter visited the university where the school authorities were said to have told them that the student was not anywhere near their premises at that material time.

The father of the suspect also told Police detectives that his son got home around 10p.m that day.

Ohamara, in his 30s, had lived in a three-bedroom flat with his elder sister and one Collins, a male undergraduate of the University of Lagos, who was described as squatting with them. Collins was a friend to the deceased. It was learnt that on the day Ohamara was killed, he had returned home from office with a stranger with whom he was suspected to have had a gay relationship.

According to the security guard at the gate, Ohamara and the stranger arrived at the home in the deceased’s car.

It was learnt that some of the persons earlier arrested in connection with the murder have identified the undergraduate as the stranger who returned home with Ohamara that night and disappeared before the severely-stabbed banker was discovered.

13 Years Old Tells Dispatcher He Shot And Tried To Rape His Mother

The trial of an Iowa teen accused of attempting to rape his mother and then shooting her dead began Wednesday with prosecutors playing a chilling 911 call.

Noah Crooks, now 14, can be heard on the March 24 call telling a dispatcher with the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Department that he shot his mother, 37-year-old Gretchen Crooks, almost 20 times with a .22-caliber hunting rifle and he doesn’t know why he did it, the Globe Gazette reports.

“I feel crazy and I know I’m not,” he says on the 10-minute recording. He later states, “I tried to rape her. I tried to rape her but I couldn’t do it … I tried to rape my own mom. Who tries to rape their own mom? My life is down the drain now.”

The woman’s body was found shortly afterward at the family’s Osage home shortly after the phone call. Police say her body had multiple bullet wounds and she was naked from the waist down.

The teen, who was 13 years old at the time of the call, also tells the dispatcher, “I just wish it was a dream so I could wake up and kiss her and hug her.”

Crooks’ attorney, William Kutmus, does not dispute that Crooks killed his mother, but says that Crooks was insane at the time of the incident, according to KAAL-TV. Kutmus plans to bring in a witness who will testify that Crooks has Intermittent Explosive Disorder, a behavioral disorder characterized by impulsive violent outbursts.

Kutmus told the court that hours before the shooting, Gretchen Crooks had taken away her son’s video game controller because of his bad grades in school.

Noah Crooks’ father, William Crooks,was not home at the time of the shooting, according to the WCF Courier.

“It’s a damn tragedy, you know. These are good people,” Mitchell County Sheriff Curt Younker told The Huffington Post in March.

Noah Crooks is charged with murder and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.

I Stabbed My Son. I Was Sick Of Him Calling Me Old

A father who murdered his son for teasing him about his age and immediately called 999 to confess, has been jailed for life.

Stephen Hall, 52, told his family he does not expect or deserve forgiveness for stabbing his son Keith McGlone, 26 with an eight inch kitchen knife.

He was today sentenced to life with a minimum of 13 years at Hull Crown Court.

Hall was preparing a meal at his home in Hull in January when he stabbed his son twice in the chest, despite Mr McGlone begging: ‘Dad please don’t’ after the first blow.

The father and son had returned home from Criterion Hotel in Hull, where they had been drinking with another male for five hours.

Hall became aggravated after being teased by his son and stabbed him in his chest and abdomen.

The court heard that Hall walked outside with the knife in his hand, and shouted: ‘What are you looking at?’ to his neighbours.

He is believed to have gone back into his house, before coming outside and asking for help, before dialling 999.

He told 999 operator Louise Robinson he had put the knife in the sink after the stabbing.

The details of the call have been released by police.

The call records Hall telling the operator: ‘I’ve just stabbed my son.

‘I don’t know if he’s alive or dead. I stabbed him in the living room and now he’s in the bathroom.

‘I said summat and he argued with me and then, all of a sudden, I just flipped.

‘I was sick of him always picking on me and calling me an old man and everything.’

The police operator kept Hall on the phone until officers and paramedics arrived at the home in January 21.

Judge Michael Mettyear said: ‘Your son was loved and treasured and did not deserve to die.

‘Nothing he did that night could begin to justify the use of a knife against him let alone stabbing him twice.

The case is aggravated because he asked you to stop and yet you continued with the second stab wound.’

Hall was arrested for his son’s murder at his home and has since been in custody. He told police: ‘I love my son.

‘I love him to bits, but we could not live together.’

Father-of-two, Mr McGlone, had recently moved back in with his father.

Jonathan Sharp, prosecuting, said: ‘Mr McGlone had suffered a turbulent childhood and had moved back in with his father shortly before the incident.

‘An independent witness said on the night in question, he had overheard arguing between the two.

The witness heard, what he thought was the defendant’s voice, saying: ‘If you don’t leave me alone, I will kill you’.

The witness then described hearing a younger voice, presumably the deceased, crying and saying ‘Please don’t, just stop.’

Defence lawyer Simon Reevell, said: ‘This will be with Mr Hall for the rest of his life.

‘There is only one victim in this case, and that is the deceased. If he could change places with his son then he would do it.

‘Mr Hall had no explanation as to what happened on the night in question.

‘He has shown genuine remorse. He didn’t plead guilty at an earlier hearing as he couldn’t come to terms with the concept of being guilty of murder.

‘The other victims are his friends, family and Keith’s mother. He is fully aware of the damage and hurt that this has led to.’

Hall had been on anti-depressants for 18 years and pleaded guilty to murder.

Baby Burned Alive: Chile Arrests 4 Accused Of Killing Child For Being ‘Antichrist’ In Ritual Sacrifice

Chilean police on Thursday arrested four people accused of burning a baby alive in a ritual because the leader of the sect believed that the end of the world was near and that the child was the antichrist.

The 3-day-old baby was taken to a hill in the town of Colliguay near the Chilean port of Valparaiso on Nov. 21 and was thrown into a bonfire. The baby’s mother, 25-year-old Natalia Guerra, had allegedly approved the sacrifice and was among those arrested.

“The baby was naked. They strapped tape around her mouth to keep her from screaming. Then they placed her on a board. After calling on the spirits they threw her on the bonfire alive,” said Miguel Ampuero, of the Police investigative Unit, Chile’s equivalent of the FBI.

Authorities said the 12-member sect was formed in 2005 and was led by Ramon Gustavo Castillo Gaete, 36, who remains at large.

“Everyone in this sect was a professional,” Ampuero said. “We have someone who was a veterinarian and who worked as a flight attendant, we have a filmmaker, a draftsman. Everyone has a university degree. “

Police said Castillo Gaete, the ringleader, was last seen traveling to Peru to buy ayahuasca, a hallucinogenic brew plant that he used to control the members of the rite.
